northern hemispherians

who are easily distressed might prefer to stop here.

though we're only mid-way into spring, it was 34 degrees today; the neighbour was splashing in his (un-heated) pool, and the local beach was the most crowded i'd ever seen it. i think someone stole my spring. this feels like a premature summer.

Well they say it's going to be 33 next week here. And I don't even mean Fahrenheit.

Isn't Southern California wonderful?

it's a swindle. spring is melbourne's second best season (after autumn).

chloƩ. sunny southern california. that's why at the turn of 20th century the nascent showbiz industry packed up, left new york, and re-located to hollywood: constant sunny weather. films were all made outdoors then. meant lots more shooting days.
