who needs an alarm clock?

when first thing in the morning the cat shoves its nose in your ear and purrs as loudly as it can.

That would be relatively nice compared to my cat.... she likes to like my lips and then proceeds to bite if she feels I am oversleeping.

i don't mind the waking, it's the incredible smugness of the cat doing the waking which is hard to take. cats are crazy about breakfast.

I would love a cat do anything to me instead of having this stupid alarm clock. So consider yourself happy.

if i told you this wakey-wakey process usually occurs between 4 and 5 in the morning, would you care to reconsider?

Every day at 7:00 on the dot my dog starts his process of waking me up. It's pretty cute when he puts his head right up near my face, though it is a bit annoying as well.
