why do little kids

like wizzing in the playground sandbox so much?

Little kids like to wizz (if you're using that word in the context I think you are) ANYWHERE. They're like puppies. You need to rub their nose in it and then put them out in the garden.

not just anywhere. there's something about sandboxes. even more than swimming pools.

are you asking this because sandbox's more often than not smell like wee-wee??

i hate to tell you this, my caffeine-addled friend, but the wee smell comes from CATS who use the sand as a litterbox, not from little kids (though i can't deny that perhaps occasionally a little kid is to blame...)

kids then play in said cat-wee sand, get toxoplasmosis and exude flu-like symptoms for around a week. and then they're fine.
or... are they.....?

take the vet nurse's advice - stay out of the sandbox!

i'm thinking of the time superintendant chalmers inspected the school, ran his finger through the sandbox, tasted it, and declared "excellent! not a trace of urine." funny stuff.

well sand is pretty absorbant so they may do it to watch it disappear like magic. or they're too busy playing to leave. probably number 2.
