an uninvited guest

i heard a crash on the roof and going out to investigate i discovered this interloper had touched down in the backyard. très fantastic. unfortunately i couldn't persuade him to pop his tail. still, it was a great piece of improv.

Aw. The UK's so boring. The most exciting specimen of wildlife I've seen this week is a squirrel. Huh.

Perhaps if you'd been a fine, female peacock ... Take comfort that the tail didn't pop!

Beautiful still. His neck looks so thick!

a&v. female peacocks are bland and nondescript.

hannah. not to be outdone the cat found a live blue tongue lizard, about 1 foot long. quite rare around here. unfortunately he wouldn't stick his tongue out for the camera.
